As a Marriage, Family Therapist, and Life Coach I work with many types of issues including anger, family violence, sexual addiction and codependency. For the past 14 years, I have been an Adjunct Professor in the Addiction Studies
Department at Diablo Valley College, focusing on the dynamics of
addicted family systems.
I am proud to serve a socioeconomically and ethnically diverse population.
Collaborating with individuals and/or couples to address
their unique challenges such as depression, addiction, life cycle changes, anxiety,
conflict, fear, isolation and "being stuck". Through my practice, I have assisted many clients as they improve their life experience. Together, we’ll work to create the changes — both emotional and physical
— you need in order to live your best life.
I invite you to read my chapters in these two edited books:
"Addressing Family Systems Issues in a Psychoeducational Group Setting" in
INTIMATE PARTNER and FAMILY ABUSE, John Hamel, Editor (Springer Pub. 2008)
and
"Family Violence Parent Groups", which I wrote with Tom Chapman in
FAMILY INTERVENTIONS in DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, John Hamel and Tonia L.
